Pilastre

Pilastre is a carafe with an unstable monolithic shape manufactured in collaboration with ArcamGlass and the mechanical and technology pole of Rennes1.Its manipulation allows experimenting the weight retained by a technical piece in pine resin which serves as a pillar to the object. The aim of this research was to develop a resilience and numerically machinable material.
