Éden

Éden was born from my collaboration with the ceramist Claudine Ruellan, who possess a pictorial and sculptural practice inspired by its territory. Each of her pieces are shaped and coloured in the style of a painter. The working with hands is of great importance to her. This strong creative identity brought me to experiment with pine resin as an enamel on the clay. After that, we decided to produce a pine resin glaze to apply on ceramics to enhance her artistic practice. My research was oriented to the control of the technical application of this varnish to create gourmet and unique fruit bowls.
